Demand for Alanya Increased in the Finnish Market
Promotional activities carried out on behalf of Alanya at different fairs in many countries have begun to bear fruit.
There has been a 40 percent increase in Alanya reservations for Aurinko Matkat, one of Finland's leading tour operators. In addition, Finnair, which flies to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) 12 months of the year, has decided to add an additional flight considering the high demand.
The feedback from the promotional activities carried out in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, which was one of the fairs previously attended on behalf of Alanya, has started to be received. Thanks to the marketing and collaborations made, the demand for Alanya in the Finnish market is increasing day by day. Aurinko Matkat Turkey Contract Manager Johanna Oliveira, who came together with Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) Board Members Gökçe Aydoğan Ergün and Şükrü Cimrin at the ITB Berlin Tourism Fair, announced that there has been a 40 percent increase in reservations for Alanya compared to the previous year. This figure revealed the special interest in Alanya, although the company's general capacity increase was limited to 15 percent.
On the other hand, Finland’s national airline Finnair, which has been flying to GZP for 12 months, expanded its flight network as of February this year and added an additional flight. Thus, the number of regular flights to GZP has increased.
