The 93 km long Manavgat River, which rises from the eastern slopes of the Western Taurus Mountains and joins the Mediterranean from the Bosphorus and feeds from the large underground waters, forms the Manavgat Waterfall, which is poured from the cliffs about 5 meters high. Many trees such as Manavgat River, willow, plane tree, poplar, mulberry, black tree, which host many fish and bird species (trout, carp, mullet, perch, catfish, crab, duck, goose, kingfisher, different types of herons, seagulls, etc.). It also has a rich variety of plants. In addition, various nature sports such as rafting and canoeing can be done in certain stages of the river, which allows you to experience adventure in all these natural beauties.


Recreational areas (restaurants, buffets, sales units, restrooms, toilets and viewing terraces, etc.) have been created in the Manavgat Waterfall, which is reconstructed to tourism by making environmental arrangements in accordance with the natural structure by Manavgat Municipality. The waterfall, which has a magnificent nature view, is a good option for those who want to escape the noise and crowds of the city.
