Perge Antik Kenti

 Perge Antik Kenti

The city, which is 17 kilometers from the center of Antalya, goes back to the Hittite period. The old name of this place, which is one of the most active cities of the Roman period, is known as "Parha". The marble sculpting in the city, which is thought to give importance to artistic activities, proves this. It has two streets and extends in the east-west and north-south directions. The stage building and theater built in the 2nd century AD are well preserved. The theater is 15 thousand people and the stadium is 12 thousand people.
